1. This is my first website. How much experience do I need?
Ans: No prior experience with website development is needed on your end. If you are baffled by some of the “language,” check out our simple glossary.
2. If I already have a website, can you help me improve it?
Ans: Absolutely! Because online changes so rapidly with your site being a key component to your business’s success, we offer redesign services for existing websites. If your company's website "doesn't look professional," takes too long to load, baffles visitors in its navigation, or just needs an updated look, we can help. Contact us for a custom quote. Please see the custom & redesign section FAQ for more information.
3. I need a simple website for my business that features our services, our “story,” and a way to contact us. Which package is best for me?
Ans: You are describing an informational site. Our Decaf website package is a simple, five-page website that includes a Home page, an About Us page, a Services page, a Contact page, and a Links page. If you need an additional page for each category, then you might opt for our Cappuccino Lite website package, which offers ten pages.

Ans: We will need your company profile (with or without principals’ professional bios); just one or two lines info about your products/ services; and any other information you intend to present on your website. If you are not confident about your writing skills, we will provide editing services for a small fee.
8. Who writes the copy/text for each of the pages on the website?
Ans: You are responsible for writing the copy/text for your website. However, we will place your supplied copy on the website for you. We also offer copy writing and editing services at a reasonable fee.
9. Since I’ll be writing my website’s text, where do I start?
Ans: Start with your company’s brochure, rack card, photographs, business cards, etc. That is your best bet for source material. 10. Can you use my business's existing logo, brochure design, and other materials for my website?
Ans: Certainly. If your logo and promotional materials are not in electronic (digital) format, we can convert them to an appropriate format for your website for a small additional fee. We accept almost any file type. If your materials are printed, we can scan and convert them. Our designers will help you create your online image, making it consistent with your established images – an image your customers already recognize & remember. If you prefer to establish an entirely new image for your business, we can help you with that, too.

Ans: Absolutely! Once we’ve completed your new website, you will own it and have full access to it. You can also opt for an editable website package for an additional charge. This way, you can log in-to easily make changes to any non-Flash content in your site, any time you want. Be sure you let us know you would like this editable option before we begin construction off your new site.
18. What do 'Website Maintenance' and 'Website Updates' mean?
Ans: Website Maintenance (also referred to as Website Updates) refers to changes, additions or deletions made to your website after the initial design & setup. Keeping a website’s content up-to-date is absolutely essential in building your client and potential client base. Updating the site with sales messages, late-breaking industry news, feature articles, new products, newsletters, press releases, financial figures and links are all examples of good content that falls under ‘Website Maintenance.’
19. How Does Your Design Process Work for Custom & Redesign Websites?
Ans: Our mission is to build the best, most cost-effective website for your business…and build it quickly and affordably.
A professionally-built website can promote your products and services, enhance your image, and generate sales. With that in mind, we will carefully research your business needs and plan a strategy to create the ideal web solution for you.
- Initial Consultation
Our custom design services begin with a free initial consultation to determine your wants and needs. Our experienced business analysts work closely with you to determine what’s best for you, and will complete a detailed design worksheet itemizing all your requirements. This helps us gather information about your company, services, audience, purpose, site goals, and more.
The consultation stage is very important because we are committed to providing you with solutions that will work for you -- not us! Email or call us for answers to your questions.
- Proposal & Paperwork
After the first fact-finding stage, we will provide you with specific recommendations for your project. There are many different ways to meet your specific needs. We explain these options and price them for your consideration. Once you agree, you will receive a proposal that contains all of the work you require, options and prices, a payment schedule, and a timetable for completion.
- Payments
Xpresso requires a 50% deposit to begin your work. After “you agree”, “we agree” and paperwork is signed and faxed or mailed to us, we start the actual design process. Please request clarification on even the smallest detail. Miscommunication and false expectations can easily put your project off-track. Feel free to contact us with any concerns, questions or comments you have along the way.
- Collecting Your Content
You provide us with the text and any other content for your website and any specific pictures you would like. If you have no photos to use, we can provide you with access to thousands of royalty free stock photos. We also offer professional copywriting and editing services, if you need them.
- Design Development
Send us to examples of websites you really like, colors you like, and also the URLs (web addresses) to your competitors’ websites. We will provide a creative mockup of what your website will look like before we proceed further. At this stage, you and the designer work closely to develop a look that will be both visually-pleasing and user-friendly.
- Design Selection & Finalization
After the initial "design is completed, you can easily review it on our servers and make further recommendations. You may request revisions or tweaks until the final approval stage.
- Web Development
After receiving your final approval on the mockup, we will begin building the website and web pages, incorporating the design and all of the content that you provide.
- re-launch Evaluation
After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it before it goes “live” on the Internet. You will submit any desired changes to the copy and then give final approval before the site goes live.
- Launching Your Website
After you final approval and your payment has been received, your website will be published on your domain, there for all the world to see!
We can register your domain name and host your website too – so you don’t have to worry about technical aspects of your website. We are ready and eager to become your “one stop shop” for everything you need to do business online.
- Ongoing Support
After your website is launched, we can provide maintenance for your site – things you’ll need done based on user feedback, system upgrades, and any new emerging web technologies.
